Variegata is an evergreen sub-shrub with long rooting stems, ovate leaves edged in cream and dark-blue flowers through spring to autumn. Plant in any (but the driest) soil in full sun for the best flowers. Can be invasive. It will reach a height of 0.5m and a spread of 2.5m after 5-10 years.
