The Cupressocyparis Leylandii or Leylandii is a very fast growing, dense, evergreen confifer, often grown as hedging. It has small, dense dark green foliage, with small yellow rounded conifer cones. Regular trimming is required to restrict growth, as Leylandii plants often grow at a rate of over 2.5ft per year. Cupressocyparis Leylandii has been awarded the RHS award of garden merit.
